Malpils Manor

Malpils Manor is a national architectural monument that was renovated in 2008 in the style of classicism. The history of the manor started in 1760. It was surrounded by a romantic baroque-style manor park with various trails, bridges and picturesque ponds. In 1905 the manor burned down. It was rebuilt in 1911, giving the building today’s appearance. During the course of restoration, the exterior of the manor was designed to resemble the historic original as much as possible. The interior design of the manor was complemented by antique furniture and paintings by old Latvian masters.
